A Sense Of Safety

Nothing is more important

than feeling safe in our bodies and relationships.

To truly feel safe and at peace in our lives,

we must know how to regulate our own emotions,

be willing to accept life on life's terms,

learn to love and accept ourselves

despite our perceived flaws,

and feel deeply connected

to other people who understand us,

accept us,

and love us for who we are.

Safety comes before all of the things

that we are so conditioned to prioritize...

achieving "success"

and the acquisition of money,

career,

social status,

and material possessions.

Because we are so conditioned

to look outside of ourselves for everything that we need,

we endlessly scramble and strive

to find the safety, security, and true sense of peace

that can only be found within our own being.

Once we truly find this safety within ourselves,

it can never be taken from us.
