I Give Up

I give up.

I cannot do it anymore.

I will not do it anymore.

I give up…

Living in denial

Perfectionism

Overachieving

Busyness

Over responsibility

Self-judgment

Beating up on myself

Belief in not-enoughness

overcompensating

Comparing myself to others

Trying to ‘fix’ myself

The need for belonging

The need for approval

Grudges

The past

Attempting to escape the pain of reality

Rigid and uncompromising views

Black and white thinking

The notion that I can save other people

Trying to save the world

Needing to be right

Needing to be seen as good

Looking for security, safety, and belonging outside of myself

Attachment to outcome

Striving

Trying to fulfill some mission

Expectations

Defensiveness

Unhealthy attachments

Toxic habits

The idea of rising above my humanness

Instead, I fully accept the pain of life.

I fully accept my humanness and all of my imperfections.

I now see clearly that there is perfection in the imperfection.

I recognize that nothing was ever wrong or broken except my perception

Of myself and of life.

I give up.

I cannot do it anymore.

I WILL NOT do it anymore.
