Sisterhood

Sisterhood offers a sense 

of community and belonging,

Safety and understanding, 

Connection, compassion, and care,

Resonance, reliability, relationship, 

And loving support.

Out of this connection comes

Generosity, love, authenticity, growth, 

And well-being,

Where before there may have been

Isolation, fear, an absence of connection, 

And no sense of safety.

We do not heal alone,

Sisterhood is the balm,

The deep connection that offers

and understood,

To have a space where we feel free

to show up as we are, 

Happy, sad, joyful, or mad,

And have all of who we are welcomed

With open arms.

That so many of us feel so much of the time.
