And the Acquisition 

Of status and material objects and trinkets.

These things are ephemeral, fleeting, and impermanent, 

And therefore fickle…

They come and they go,

And when they go,

Their Absence will only leave you empty 

and wanting more and more, 

Forever a hungry ghost.

Instead, fill yourself with that which can never be taken from you…

Your own acceptance, approval, attention, and love.
