I’m still standing,

I had to do it all alone.

None of you cared about me,

I had nowhere to call home.

In the end, it doesn’t matter,

I’ve done it all alone,

Turns out I didn’t need you.

Likely it’s better that it went this way,

I have to believe that is true.

Who would I have been 

If you had stuck around,

If you had cared enough to stand by me

Things may have gone in a much worse way,

For sure, I would not be the person I am today.
